We thank you for taking time to visit our online site. The church of Christ which meets in the Shenandoah sub-division is a dedicated body of believers to the truth of God's word (Jn. 17:17). With a commitment to truth, we are able to engage in works of obedience that please the Father in heaven  (Tit. 3:1,14); the works of faithfulness, evangelism, and benevolence/service (Rev. 2:10; Matt. 28:19-20; Gal. 6:10; Jas. 1:27). Our ultimate goal as Christ's church is to "approve things that are excellent; that (we) may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ" (Phil. 1:10). For this to occur, a discovery of truth through knowledge and correct understanding  of God's word must be obtained (2 Pet. 1:3; Eph. 5:17; Pr. 2:5-6). Once garnered, application (obedience) of the same must be employed to demonstrate our love for God - this is wisdom (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). It is not enough to say we love God, we must manifest it through the lives we live (Gal. 2:20; 1 Jn. 2:6).
